Dexter is a Creepy Serial Killer...
What better Halloween party guide can you find than the creepiest serial killers ever? Sure the body count is absurdly high, but isn't that what Halloween is all about - a celebration of death? In Mexico, All Hallow's Eve is known as Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead). And as Dexter is so fond of saying, "Tonight's the night"!
The creepiest thing about Dexter is that he's so adoptable. His police detective father adopted him after some very bad killers left him in a boxcar sitting in his mother's blood for days. Debra, Dexter's sister adopted him as her big, loyal, trustworthy brother. Dexter's audience has adopted him as America's most intriguing serial killer. Yes, Dexter even brings doughnuts to his crew and they have adopted him into their ranks.
Dexter is a Blood Spatter Analyst for the Miami Dade Homicide Division. He works with Debra to capture the bad guys, only Dexter takes his job a little bit further and eliminates the bad guys. He's saving the taxpayers so much money! What a guy!
The Dexter Halloween Theme Plan...
Dexter has developed a very precise and cool way to create his "killing floor". For your party decorations, here is Dexter's shopping list of must have body elimination supplies:
This is your scene which can actually be set up inside or outside. If you've ever watched the show, you know what to do. If not, ask someone who has. Reserve a wall for your party favors and Bloody Mary drinks.
Add some floodlights behind the plastic wrap to light the scene. You could actually spatter some fake blood around the plastic with a paint brush. Practice on a small area first. Use just enough to creep things out, don't go overboard to gross levels.

Recipe for Bloody Mary Cocktails
Mix all in a highball glass and garnish with celery stalks and/or green olives
Eyeballs and Fingers and Punch, oh my!
There must be a thousand or so Halloween recipes for creepy finger foods (pun intended). You can use your favorite or buy Halloween decorated cupcakes, spice breads or pumpkin anything. Of course there are all sorts of Gummy worms, beetles, flies, eyeballs etc. ready to use. It's hard NOT to find some fun Halloween treats!
Real Dexter fans will want to serve the perfect Key Lime Pie.
My favorite punch recipe is so easy it's scary. Just mix some Hawaiian Fruit Punch with Ginger Ale (half and half) and you are done! Cut up some fruit in odd combinations and make the punch look like it has some substance in there. The pulp from oranges looks and tastes just right.
For a creepy punch effect - take a rubber glove and fill it with water and freeze it. Remove the glove and use the ice hand in the punch! Make two or more if you're having a big party. And you can even use these as ice sculpture decorations in a bowl with a little dry ice to create some fog effects.
